PSP Media Group, as part of the DC Thomson Media company, are offering a unique opportunity for a talented Customer Services Manager to head up our back office department in an exciting and fast paced working environment. bunkered Golf Breaks was launched in August 2020 and the new venture has hit the ground running providing great value golf breaks at many of Scotland’s most iconic golf venues.


This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual with a proven track record in Customer Services. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this new role will see the successful candidate run the back-office function at PSP Media Group based in Glasgow City Centre to support all areas of Customer Service plus pre and post travel functions for our bunkered Golf Breaks business.

We are looking for a dynamic individual with a self-start attitude plus a confident and empathetic approach to consumers. A desire to succeed in supporting our golfers across the UK and Ireland through providing a first class after sales experience is paramount.

You will require excellent communication skills and possess the following attributes:

  • Customer service management experience, preferably in a travel or golf-based background
  • A good understanding of golfers and the game of golf itself
  • A natural self-starter who is able to work both remotely but also as a team player
  • An ethos of delivering a first-class travel service to our customers both pre and post travel
  • A positive attitude towards change within a fast-growing environment
  • An ability to hit the ground running

    The successful candidate will be expected to take on daily responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Dealing with all customer enquiries pre and post travel
  • Cross checking all bookings against supplier confirmations
  • Liaising with our Accounts payable function in regards to invoicing and payments
  • Liaising with Suppliers in regards to queries about bookings
  • Customer payments, both processing and allocating to the system
  • Involvement in post-sales/pre travel amendments and cancellations
  • Offering support to the Sales Department
  • Monitoring all Golf Break inboxes

    To be a strong candidate for this role, you must possess:

  • Minimum 2 years in a Customer Services environment within the travel tourism or golf industry
  • Ideally educated to a degree level (not essential)
  • A keen interest and knowledgeable about golf desirable
